too bad you don't live out here. Gary is a
mobile x-ray repairman. he gets us free batteries that he removes from the
trucks. even after the battery's performance drops for x-ray levels they
have plenty of life left in them. I have been running one for 2 years
now. they are the same size as concordes. Gary points out that they
have more plates than the concordes, absolutely the best made. perhaps you
could locate a similar guy in FL. with all the retirees down there it is
probably the x-ray capital :-)

Actually, it's only been a couple of months since I replaced
the battery. I guess those lawnmower batteries aren't what they used to be
:) Actually, seems that the "Everstart"s lasted longer than the "Champion"s
I've been using the last couple of times. Or the new starter with the RWS
PSRU is more demanding than the one I had on the Ross?
Anyway, plunking
down $17 for a new battery seems way extravagant - I think I'll try
charging it first :)

Finn, IMHO the best way to fix low voltage is to buy a new battery and
I know that is hard for you to accept

Finn, FWIW...It has helped my starting, with low voltage, to pull
the prop through a couple of turns before hitting the start
button.
