Tracy, any problem wiring up the audio, but through a "kill(silence audio)"
toggle switch - to be used if audio is getting annoying?  Will there be a
ref to audio or is it out completely?  Might want to leave it in, with a
NOTE or COMMENT on OPTIONS:  1) wire it or 2) don't wire it, or 3) wire it
through a "kill switch".

David

Hi Rusty,
I agree about the audio alarm.   Too many occasions when it is just not
wanted.  I just removed the reference to it from the instructions and
clarified the hookup to the alarm light.  Ignore the reference to audio
panel (no connection) and wire Pin 2 to the light.  The other lead of the
light goes to +12 (or whatever voltage the light is rated at).  Pin 2 goes
to ground when the alarm is active.

There are no doubt other details in the instructions that will require
clarification.  Don't hesitate to squawk when you run across something that
isn't clear.

Subject: [FlyRotary] EM2

Greetings,

I just spent some time between phone calls reading through the EM2 manual
All I can say is OUTSTANDING Tracy!  I can't think of anything else this
could have.  The real dilemma is what to do with all these extra sensor
inputs :-)

Just one question at the moment:

On the P3 switch connector, pin 2 is "alarm or audio panel interface", and
pin 10 is +5V "audio panel interface power".  This confuses me a bit.  Can
you explain which gets hooked up for a big bright light, and which would get
hooked up for an audio input to the radio, or intercom?  Can both be used,
or do you need to pick one or the other?  I'll probably be using the big
light, since I already have one mounted, and found the audio warning on the
RMI to be very annoying.

Thanks.  Can't wait to get it hooked up and running.  Heck, this might make
a nice all in one device for my Airbike.

Thanks,
Rusty
