Group,

Received E mail from the RV7/Subie builder who built this current limiter for the electric "IVO" prop Magnum about two
years ago..............He reports that it works as advertised................

Group,

Thought this would be of interest to those of the group flying ahead or behind an "IVO" prop.................Thanks to Kenneth Johnson
for pointing the way to this information.............

Go to "Matronics" archive http://www.matronics.com/search and search "IVO prop motor current limiter and electronic CB report"
for a list of posts leading to a current limiting circuit design by Bod Nuckolls which was built by another list member and apparently
proven to work satisfactorily................Below is a link to the circuit design and photos of the packaged assembly................You need to
read all the posts of this thread to gain all the necessary info on adjustment made to the circuit when installed (they were minor)....

Hi All,
In June of 2010 AeroElectric began a discussion on a simple wiring system to turn off the ivo prop motor when current progressly increases as the motor reaches the end of its run.  This might be an alternative to the amp meter.  Ken Johnson
