That would clog the injector in about a second.
Mineral Oil of various sorts is used.

Dave,
So, that's what you do with your old drain oil.

David,
You can buy a system from companies like: Smoking airplanes dot com Or roll you own, which is what I did - duh, I rolled my own engine too. You need:
A tank: I made mine out of aluminum tube and put it in the outboard lightening holes in the wing. Holds 3 gallons.
A pump: I am using the standard, a la Tracy, fuel pump. Turns out it pumps just the right amount (about a gallon a minute). It is light weight and has a built-in check valve. I mounted it in the wing root.
An Injector: I made one out of SS tube, flared at one end the welded over at the other. Then I started drilling small holes in it until it flowed about 1gal/min with the chosen pump.
Then just work out the switching and plumbing. I love mine, 7lbs dry. Cost less and weighs less than smoking airplanes'. Always stays installed and does not eat up baggage area or stink like oil. Only problem is that if I roll too fast, all the oil flows outboard and I get a gap in my smoke.
