I see EGTs around 1720 -1740 during takeoff and
initial climb. During climb at about 24 in hg I see EGTs 1700 or
below. In cruise I go lean of peak and at about 20 in hg I my EGTs are
1550 - 1630. My exhaust is very quiet. This may cause my EGTs to be
high. I've got approx. 350 flight hours on the RV-7A with the Renesis and
2.85:1 RD1C. Prop is Catto 88 in pitch and 76 in dia.
