Steve,

Keep the FWF. Build a Bearhawk Patrol (two seat tandem), use the engine, and fly out of short strips!

Bought my QB Bearhawk in 2005, thought was it would be flying in three years. Little did I realize
how much life could change. Great part is my wonderful wife is still with me (lots of surgeries later), three in college, fourth in High School.  My 75 year old neighbor put it in perspective, the plane is a dream and you need to keep it alive. Kids will be out of school and the house before I know it... then I'll have time and money to finish it. Wise neighbor.

Hopefully you'll find a RV7 builder, as it is a good price for that package.

Tom

Steve,

   Thank you for the compliment.

The primary reason for selling is that my mission has changed, the RV is just too much airplane for my new plan. I am still a big proponent of the rotary engine for aviation, and believe it has much merit.
Part of my mission change is that I will no longer be able to build a runway here at my home as originally planned. So the RV would have to be hangered at an airport, and in my case, thats just not a great option.
I also don't travel as I had once planned, and now with three little children. I won't be traveling with my wife anytime soon. I just don't need a 200 MPH airplane to fly 30 miles for pancakes.

Best,

Ben
