I plugged mine into a audible alarm in my engine monitor.  Works great, but does not go off until there are are only a couple of quarts left in the pan.

I have the oil level switch in the pan too. I plan to wire it to a panel light, instead of into the EC & M system.

Doug,

I kept the oil level switch in the oil pan. Since I meter oil from a separate
reservoir, I put one of those switches in there, too.

You guys who are flying... did you keep the low oil level switch or remove it?
For those who removed it, what is the best way to plug the hole? Thanks for any
info.
