What is the lower idle ranges?  I can pretty smoothly idle around 1200-1300, even a bit lower. I usually don't stay there for long as it seems I recall mention Tracy's PSRU may not like it that low. I usually idle around 1550 - 1650 rpm. It doesn't seem to matter much regarding temperature raising over a somewhat extended period.
