Really hate to see this happen, Ben.  Always hurts to see someone who had put so much time in on a project decide to give it up.  But, you do what you have to do.

Subject: [FlyRotary] RV7 for sale...

Well fellas,  My RV7 Renesis project is for sale. I plan to finish it, as I doubt it will sell until then, but I would sell it now, as is. Engine hung, wings built, Tip-up canopy done, fuselage built, empenage built.

What's left to do:

-the million little things that complete a project
-about 25 to 30% of the wiring
-rear window over baggage area
-start engine
-fiberglass fairings and wing tips install
-finish fit cowling
-interior
-gear leg fairings and wheel pants
-probably many things that I haven't even thought of yet

What equipment it has:
Renesis engine
Catto 3 blade prop
James Aircraft rotary cowling
RWS RD1C
RWS EC2
RWS EM2
Ed Andersons Fuel Computer
Grand Rapids Dual Screen Horizon 1
Grand Rapids Dual AHRS
Garmin SL30
Garmin 300XL
Garmin 327 Transponder
PS Engineering PM5000EX Audio Panel
Dual battery/dual B&C alternators on separate serpentine belts
Vertical power VX Pro electrical system
Back up steam gauges for airspeed, altimeter, turn and bank
All tefzel wiring
All AN fitting oil and fuel lines
All silicon water hoses with heat shrink clamps
heater core with blower installed
Crow 5 point restraint harnesses
.065 Wall 321SS Exhaust ceramic coated

Situation has changed, not bad, just different. The RV does not meet my mission profile, and I will not be able to get the land bought here at home for a runway. I need to go to a different type of aircraft. One with STOL capabilities. I have been stewing over this for some time, and I believe it is the right thing to do. I can send more pictures to anyone interested. I have not set a price, as in this stage, I have no idea what to even ask. I do believe it has everything needed to complete, except some antenna wire, and paint. Otherwise, I am can't think of another thing that needs to be bought to complete it.

I think the thing I will miss the most, is lurking around listening to the wealth of knowledge on this forum. (I will likely always monitor it, but with less interaction)

Best,

Ben
