One of the other guys installed an 8 foot Mythbusters decal on his wing... and got some attention for that. But my plane should have some good time in the background while Grant explains the findings. Never met Jamie and Adam but spent the better part of 2 days hanging out with Keri, Grant and Torrie... who happened to love my electric skateboard. I seriously doubt that there will be any mention of the rotary engine. Funny story, they hired a helicopter to come film us.. paying big$$. We were hanging out with the pilot trying to talk airplanes but he was a little aloof and at one point make the comment that the thing that worried him was "all you scarry experimentals".. But when we went up to do the shoot, he got a chip light and had to do an emergency landing... we had 9 aircraft over 2 days and over 40 sorties without a single maintenance issue while he didn't complete his single sortie.. and really took a lot away from some of the images we could have had.
