Basically, you can spend a lot of time and energy hacking together a
circuit that will turn a narrowband AFR sensor into a wideband, and then
more time and energy building a controller for it,
-OR-
You can spend $200 for an LC-1 that puts out a calibrated/linear 0-5V
signal out of the box, and replace the sensor for $60 if it ever goes bad.

I've done my share of experimenting, and chose to go with the LC-1.
It's working exceptionally well so far.
