The sensor mounting is in relation to the trigger wheel. Rotate the trigger wheel 23 degrees forces you to rotate the sensor the same 23. It works the other way to. You can clock the trigger wheel relative to the crankshaft so that the sensor can be mounted in a more convenient place. You can add a correction via the tuner software, but that can make things more complicated. I've had several exchanges with the some of the people on the RX7 Club forums. The MS is a fairly flexible piece of equipment. If you could describe what your goals are and how you'd like to accomplish them, what pieces you've settled on so far, then I, and some people much more knowledgeable than I, could offer better advice.
