They orginized the whole thing and our participation was showing off aircraft that the members had built or restored. Our chapter, 127, is a builder group that covers all disciplines. We had tables set up with displays for composite, rag and tube, metal and wood. I was at the composite table and on the way out the door this morning I grabbed an old rotor and a rotor housing and Tracy's book and thought it would be a attention getter. While the guys were showing off their beautiful A/Cs I noticed that a lot of people looked at the rotor and rotor housing, asked all kinds of questions and generally had a great time thanking me for explaining the rotary. I was totally blown away. Here I was, a builder taking forever to build a rotary powered aircraft which is still in my garage, being somewhat envious of the completed lycoming aircraft builders and I was fielding all kinds of questions with a rotor, a housing and Tracy's book. Go figure. Joe Berki Limo EZ
