I wouldn't worry about it unless you have other symptoms.  Cold rotaries just don't seal well, especially at hand-cranking speeds.

The weak spots are better when the engine is hot Vs cold and my ear tells me the weak spots are accompanied by a hiss in the intake … good ones have a pop in the exhaust.  Does this mean that side seals or corner seals are questionable?
