John,

    Its sounds like you have turbo rotor housings.  The turbo aluminum rotor
housings have coolant holes in the bottom (the NA rotors do not).  You
appear to be talking about the aluminum rotor housings and the turbo housing
do take O rings OR you can do like I did and plug them with freeze plugs I
got from Mazdatrix.
