I won't go through the scanner. It riles me to get patted down, but gettting irradiated is worse.

Just to keep it in perspective: yeah, it’s annoying, but the radiation you get from the very brief scan is negligibly small compared to the increase cosmic ray dose you’ll get from taking the flight at the higher altitudes.  Both of which are small compared to what you’ll get at your next dental x-ray.

Kelly,

Good story, I just wish they had given the name of the restaurant so I could give them my business.  With the current state of affairs, I refuse to fly on the commercial airlines.  Now that my project is an airplane, I either fly myself or I drive.  All groping and/or verbal abuse is handled by the wife.

TSA Agents Banned From Seattle Eatery Restaurant Owner Puts Agents On "Do-Not-Eat" List

A restaurant owner near SEA-TAC airport became fed up ... so to
speak ... with stories from his customers about their treatment at
the hands of TSA agents. So the owner decided to put anyone
employed by the agency on a "do-not-eat" list, and the response
from customers had been mostly positive.

A blog called "The Raw Story" reports that restaurant employee
KC McLawson told a journalist that there are signs on the door
saying that TSA employees are not welcome. "We have the right to
refuse service to anyone," she said.

McLawson said the owner of the establishment travels frequently,
and he can recognize TSA personnel when they come into the
cafe. She said even the police have assisted in escorting
TSA employees from the restaurant on occasion.

McLawson said the policy would stand until TSA agents "start
treating us with the respect and dignity we deserve." Until then,
it'll be no food for the Feds. The name of the cafe, and its
owner, was withheld from the blog by the journalist who told them
the story.
