Chris,

Be sure you do this test with the new seals before you install them.  It
never hurts to know the status of the new stuff.  Also you might want to
check the old ones against a straight edge to see if they are all bent or
just one of the pair.

Removed the rear iron today and took out the rotor. I Examined the apex
seals by holding the top of two of the seals up to each other. As Tracy
predicted light could be seen between the seals.

I am pleased the RA seals did not shatter as I see no apparent damage in the
chamber.

So, gotta clean up the mess disassembly produces and install the new
seals/O-rings that arrived yesterday.
