Steve, what a beautiful airplane! Do you have any pictures of your install you would like to share? What kind of prop is that? What PSRU and what static rpm are you getting? You must have good cooling to be able to run at high power settings that long on the ground. What is your cooling setup? Is this a FWF from Mistral? Can you trailer the plane to another airport to get in the air? As many probably don't know, I'm not nearly as smart as most of you, so this engine is a full-up Mistral 2 rotor, their first in the field as a matter of fact. It is normally aspirated, and has a Burns Stainless 3" x 17" muffler with stainless scrubble packing. The muffler is not terribly effective, but I'm going to stick with it for now. The airplane is basically ready to go, but my airworthiness certificate has been delayed because the Van Nuys FSDO has arbitrarily banned experimental flights from my home airport, Santa Barbara.
