>=3B I'm ready for a pitot/static and tran= sponder check and I'm wondering a couple of things:
>=3B
>=3B 1.= I'm in Santa Barbara=2C CA and my local avionics shop is not only horribly= expensive=2C but also has little or no experience with experimentals. Can = anyone recommend an avionics shop in the Southern California area that know= s how to work with us? Anyone out there mobile?

>= =3B 3. Is the certification required for the DAR? Can I get my final inspec= tion done before the pitot/static thing and then fly somewhere else for the= certification?
>=3B
>=3B Thanks to everyone for all the help a= nd many many posts on all subjects rotary. I want to be in the air in Febru= ary.
