my oil plumbing goes from the pump to the cooler, up to a remote filter, then to this block shown.  rob golden told me that routing it straight down, rather than up thru the bottom, as originally designed, would help increase oil flow significantly.  below that is a stock probe, temp or pressure [I forget, pressure I'd guess].  so I have that port, plus three in the block.  I prefer a manual oil pressure gauge, having used one in my plane with no problems for 11 years, and having had problems with the electrical gauges that use sender units.[van's].  so if I need to measure oil temp at it's highest °, where should I install the probe?  I assume there is a factory location?    kevin [building the fuse I often felt more like a painter, now while building an engine, a plumber!]
