Hey Doug!
Yes, last night we got about 6-8 inches of blowing dry powder. It rained
all day then about 6pm it turned to sleet. Then snow. The wind was gusting to 30
mph. Glad I was inside by the fire.
Rotary project is at a complete standstill. Work has been taking all my
time lately and all my money is being put back into my shop. Nothing much left
to put into the airplane unfortunately.
On a positive note I do have my CNC lathe up and running finally. It was
quite a project all by itself. Complete rebuild, new controls and spindle drive.
My mill is also up and running, next I have a 5 axis mill with a tool
changer to retrofit. This is all in addition to the usual work stuff.
So it's not like I'm just slacking off or anything. ;-)
You should be getting close to pushing the start button any day now. Right
now all my rotary fun is vicariously through everybody
on this list.
Thanks guys,
Monty

Monty:
Good to read a post from you again...is our Oklahoma "blizzard" visiting
you as well?
Are you about ready to get your PP project running and how goes your
final design of your airplane?
Merry Christmas.
