Just so I’m clear, I’m assuming that’s 6 – 8 amps for all 4 coils and thus would be 1.5 to 2 amps per coil at full throttle?

So Ed (or anyone else), I would like to order another mini EE Masters Thesis on the load drawn by typical ignition coils on a Renesis.

 

Figure about 6-8 amps – possible spikes during start may hit 15.
