Hi Bob,
The fuel continuously circulates between the header tank and the fuel rails.
Any fuel injected creates a pressure differential (vacuum) in the header
tank which draws cool fuel from wing tanks. So the header tank is never
empty and it eliminates the need for return fuel lines to the wing tanks.
It was simply, easy to fabricate and has worked for the last 10 years.
