Thanks, Al.

I assume your heater assy is mounted inside the cabin behind the rear seat??  Does the fan inlet get inside or fresh air?  How?

The Velocity has a ‘vanity bulkhead’ behind the rear seats that hides all the gear linkage, wiring, fuel sump, etc. that is back by the firewall.  My heater is also back there, and recircs cabin air.

Interesting about the oil system flow.  We are not consistant with this flow on the list.  Counting me, just on todays disclosures, we are evenly divided 2 and 2  for where in the system to place the filter and cooler.

I see no disadvantage to having the cooler after the filter; and the advantage of keeping the cooler internals clean.  Have you ever looked at the bottom of the oil pan in your car after about 50,000 miles? Similar stuff will end up in your cooler; although I’d imagine not anywhere in the tubes where the flow velocity is high – although it could probably clog some turbulators if they are in there.
