I assume your heater assy is mounted inside the cabin behind the rear seat?? Does the fan inlet get inside or fresh air? How? Interesting about the oil system flow. We are not consistant with this flow on the list. Counting me, just on todays disclosures, we are evenly divided 2 and 2 for where in the system to place the filter and cooler. Keeps sludge from building up in the cooler over the long haul. The = housing I made by carving urethane foam mold and laying up fiberglass.  The = core came from NAPA.  I looked through their parts catalog until I found a core that is =  about 6 x 7” (I think from an old Ford van).  From the collector side housing, two duct carry the heat to blow forward from under the rear = seats.  It puts out a lot of heat.
