Bill;

Here is a photo of my heater system.  The centrifugal blower came from Lincoln Surplus for about $6.95. The housing I made by carving urethane foam mold and laying up fiberglass.  The core came from NAPA.  I looked through their parts catalog until I found a core that is  about 6 x 7” (I think from an old Ford van).  From the collector side housing, two duct carry the heat to blow forward from under the rear seats.  It puts out a lot of heat.

From your other posting : I think the oil filter is supposed to be the last thing before the engine.

Best they are placed before the cooler.  Keeps sludge from building up in the cooler over the long haul.

 Those of you who installed coolant heaters for cabin heat…what did you use for your heat exchanger?  I am looking for something and I don’t have much room to install it.  I need something small.  What did you use and what are the dimensions if you remember?  Lightweight would be good also!  [:>)
