We based it on the section enclosed, with some modification of the split section, but the volumes are within 2-5%, so we're comfortable with it until ground/flight testing.  More will be revealed.....

The photo's imply what doesn't go through the oil cooler goes up and over to the water rad - I see some problems with this approach. Perhaps you have ducting to separate the high pressure areas, given flow through different rads is never the same.
Nice arrangement though - something new!

Hi Greg,

I am anxious to see what you get on the dyno with your engine!  It should be a screamer!  What is the opening size of the belly scoop and where did you get the scoop?  I am thinking of something similar with my FG.  How do you direct the air inside the scoop to go over both the oil and water exchangers?  How do you control the cowl flap?  You said manually??? How?
