Thanks for all the suggestions, and feedback. Steve, very kind offer to export those values from the computer. Boy, I'm thinking that would be a pretty nice thing to have standard on the EC2/3. 

I have tried to reset all settings to default, did not make a difference. Multiple times. I will wait for TC to weigh in with his thoughts.

Also liked the idea of swapping the B chip for A. Actually I fear another return to TC coming. The EC2 is located in a hard to get to location. I know, I should have thought of that before but on a trike there is just not that many places to mount all this stuff. Anyway, I know several of you on this list have been through similar frustrating returns, so I'll try not to whine too much. But it is frigging frustrating. I am so darn close.
