How about Wednesday @ 11:00AM. Then, if we want, we can go get some food, or just hang around and talk rotary. Someone suggested the Hombuilders Headquarters. I will check for availability based on the number of people that reply they will try to stop by. Please post if you think you may make it. 

As far as the replies to my inquiry, some very good points brought up. And I appreciate all the input. A few things I had thought of and worried about, i.e. attaching to the mounting flange, and fuel and heat resistance. One brought up FibreGlast, their carbon fiber sleeves is actually what got me started thinking about it, and would likely use them as my tech support on the actual construction. One brought up my current intake looks good, and I appreciate that compliment, however, most everyone installing a rotary in their aircraft knows, just because it looks good, really doesn't do much for performance. I  am becoming more and more concerned over the length of my intake runners, And the weight if it. I have been weighing every piece from the firewall forward, and WOW, adds up pretty fast. Not liking what I am finding. Nearly finished, and will post those results when complete. My problem is, what is considered a true FWF weight. Does the engine mount
 count? I say Yes. Does the spark plug wire count, Yes. I have weighed EVERYTHING. Which leaves me to the Lyc crowd are they weighing EVERY piece that is in front of the firewall? For a fair comparison, or just the engine? My batteries are on the firewall, SO I weighted em. But what about the Lyc. guys. If their batteries are behind the firewall, does that mean they are not obligated to include them? Life s so unfair.
I guess that is why I have weighed every piece separately and can add or subtract accordingly.
Wrapping up, thanks to all who responded, not sure if I will proceed or not, should just work toward getting the thing flying before I start redesigning it. Not sure IF I will proceed with the intake or not.
