Hi Dave;
    This sounds like an ideal pump. Have you thought about trying one? Since you have a turbo and seem interested in max performance (so you can show up all those SoCal Lyc-powered RV's), or do you already have excess cooling?
    I'd be interested as I've thought about this in the past just to prolong my climb abilities, but have hesitated due to weight concerns. With a small enough pump, the only real weight concern is the water reservoir.

I the operating room with use little disposable pumps to irrigate during laprascopic surgery.  After the surgery, we take the pumps home to get the lightly used AA batteries - 8 of them.  That adds up to 12V.  The little pumps are very small, lightweight and free.  One puts out about the right amount of water, but you could run several in parallel if you want more.  Let me know if you want me to send you some.  No guarantee on suitability for aircraft.
 
Would still require installing a tank and doing the wiring.
