Thanks for the superb write-up, a very neat seat up, it is a keeper for sure.
 
This is what the Corvair boys have been doing for some time with great success:
 
they use both the John Deere an the Kubota units. The Kubota ones a less costly and smaller.
 
 
I got my 20 amp Kubota unit including heat sink regulator of eBay brand new for under 50$.

OK Gang;
     Here is the first draft of my report in a PDF, which I submit for your reading pleasure.
I'll update it when I finish testing it. I'll put it in the Rotary Wiki as well and I am considering once it is tested and this report updated, submitting it to Contact! magazine. They might be interested?
I couldn't get it less than the 300K limit for the list without seriously degrading the picture quality, so I just stuck it on my webspace. If anybody has trouble downloading it, let me know and I'll email it to you.
