Al - so you don't feel all alone - a
Horizon pilot on my field let his buddy fly his RV-4. apparently he caught
his sleeve on the canopy release and it blew off at 180mph. the wind
sucked off his sunglasses as well as his headset. imagine standing on the
field watching your plane land, sans canopy. but, the story gets
better. an hour later the fire dept. shows up with the canopy, damaged,
but not cracked! maybe your door is out there waiting for the
firemen! kevin
