CENTRAL TEXAS SPRING ROTARY ROUND-UP

MAY 29, 30 & 31, 2009

The Central Texas Rotary Flyers are planning a Spring Rotary Round-Up!
Bobby Hughes and Mark Steitle have volunteered to help with the details.

If you are flying, building or thinking of building a rotary powered aircraft - YOU ARE INVITED

Location - Home of Dennis Haverlah -  706 Breakaway Rd. Cedar Park, Tx. 78613;  512-259-0787
Breakaway Airport - 40-XS - a private airport community with a paved runway just north of Austin, Texas.
See San Antonio Sectional for location or go to www.navmonstor.com for info.
Runway - 3000'  X 30' paved , Runway Headings 15 & 33. Advisory Freq. 122.9

All traffic patterns are EAST of the field - Left pattern for 15 and Right pattern for 33.
We have runway lights - but night operations are not encouraged - we have a large deer population!!

We hope some of the pusher guys can bring their aircraft!

Tent camping is available and I have a couple of bedrooms available in my home.

Hotels in Cedar Park also nearby.   Enterprise car rental is also nearby.  The nearest city it Cedar Park.
If you are needing a car  or need a  hotel try Cedar Park first.  Austin hotels are further away.

Auto fuel can be purchased on the field or from a nearby filling station for those needing fuel.

Food and beverages will be provided.

   Presenters Needed
The format of the weekend will copy Tracy's Rotary Round-Up!
If you have any Rotary related information you can share,  please let us know.

I am building a new intake for my Renesis RV-7A and hope to have design and flight data to present.
Ed Anderson always has lots of good information to share!

Mark Steitle is planning to fly here in his 20 B powered Lancair and Bobby Hughes hopes to bring his RV-10
powered by a supercharged Renesis.  We hope the Pecan Plantation rotary powered group can also attend.

Tracy - any chance the RV-8 can make the trip??

See You In May!
