Gee, Randy. Tough news.
I can empathize, when about half way
through construction of my rotary powered RV-6A, I lost slight in my right eye –
figured my flying days were over, some what depressing. Fortunately, a
good FAA Doctor took the initiative to lead me through the FAA regulatory maze
to getting a medically wavier for my condition. I presume you have looked
into that?

Subject: [FlyRotary] Engine sale
At the request of my FAA medical examiner I am leaving
aviation.
I have the following engines for sale. Next week they will be on
Barnstormers.com and eBay.
New Mazda 13B - - - $6000
Factory new 2004 Mazda 13B forth generation Renesis crate engine
completely modified for aviation by Bruce Turrentine.
4-port intake, 3-port exhaust.
10:1 new, ceramic coated, eye brow ported, high compression rotors
Has the required RWS PSRU flexplate
Black and yellow powder coated
225 hp @ 7500 rpm (+/- depending on intake, exhaust design)
-----------------------------------------------
Slightly used Mazda 13B - - - $2500
2005 Mazda RX-8 4-port Renesis engine used for emissions testing only,
