If I'm not mistaken Bob, didn't you buy Bernie Kerr's engine? That
should be much like an Eggenfelner Subie FWF install since it right off
the firewall of a flying 9A so "get-r-done" as they say! My FWF came
out of a Glastar and I have had to redo virtually everything (rads, intake,
exhaust) due to differences in cowling, radiator placement, engine mount
construction, etc.
Have you ever been over to see Sam Hodges 9A installation? It looks
like he should have his first engine start this year so we might have three 9A's
making rotary music in 2009!
I just returned from a four month AWACS deployment to the island of
Curacao so hope to get back after my project as soon as the hanger warms up
a bit in Feb...
