When you get a chance can you post a picture of your new cowl flap?  I haven't seen your bird since Tracy's a couple years ago and I'm also using the "rotary" cowling.  I therefore am always anxious to see what works on other's a/c of similar design! 

 

Have you done any side by side flying of late with any other RV-9A's to compare speed / fuel burn, etc.?
