Hi Brian,

I don't know the details of the functionality, but the main difference
is the EC3 uses a 25 pin connector and a 15 pin connector instead of
one 37 pin connector.  There is also an oxygen sensor input and a knock
sensor input that is not present on the EC2.  I don't know how they are
used.
