The Latest issue of Hotrod has a great article on
turbocharging. Best collection of info in one place on the subject I ever
saw.
Of special interest to rotor heads was
a section on exhaust turbine material selection. I always
thought inconel was the last word in hi-temp stuff. Turbonetics says it is
only good for 1700 F but they make one from an alloy called Mar-M 247
that survives at 2000F.
