Not a chance in hell, Rusty. The structure to hold an engine at the front simply isnt there. It would be a VERY major redesign, and would probably end up too heavy to fly. On top of the that, the weight and balance would be all wrong. I think the best way to put 2 engines on an EZ would be in pods on the strakes.

Thanks to all who commented.  I knew it was a long shot, but thought I'd ask.  At least it saved me a lot of research.  BTW, when you do a Google search for Vari-ez, the top hit is Marko :-) 
 
The bottom line of all this, is that I'm looking for a test-bed for a single rotor engine.  I'm also considering a Dominator gyro, which I happen to have plans for.  That would really be the easiest project, though I'd have to finish learning how to fly a gyro.
