If he did not, then he would seldom (if ever) encounter SAG. I am not an ignition expert, but I would think that some of the higher energy/quick risk time ignition systems might help the SAG problem - but, I don't really know. In my case, the plugs are cheap enough that I simply replace them. Why, Yes! I do have a bushel basket full of spark plugs which I keep hoping I will find a way to remove the fouling lead deposits- abrasive blasting is not very effective due to the 4 grounding electrodes which tend to shield the ceramic cone from the abrasive material. I keep hoping someone with a high power ultrasonic cleaner will see if that might be effective - I tried the less powerful (for Jewelry cleaning) and that did not work.
