He told me about a guy he had talked with who had
a rotary flying in an RV-3. I first thought of Finn Lassen, then he went
on about the guy who lived in the Florida Pan Handle wanting to sell his
RV-3, but was going to take the rotary engine out first. Then the
guy stated that the fellow had sold the RV-3 with Mazda
engine to someone in Tennessee. Ah ha! I said, "Rusty Duffy?" -
That's him! Steve exclaimed!

I think I
recall the guy you're talking about, but not quite sure. I really tried to
sell it without the engine, but some lunatic just insisted :-)
I wonder if
that glutton for punishment is flying his Harmon Rocket yet?

PS- Van's has
finally found a way to keep me from flying without painting the cowling. Either
that or they've changed suppliers to Cozy Girls
