I have talked to him about this in the past also, believe me, it is not possible.
But you have some interesting ideas in your email. I'm sure the Mazda engineers would be very happy to work with us, it's the lawyers that are the problem, and probably much more so here in the US than in Japan.
There is always hope. The M.L.H. (Mazda Laywer Homebuilder) did seem to indicate that if Mazda corporate in Hiroshima were to become involved in aviation with the rotary then things could change.
