I've known the Mazda lawyer for several years and have had a few discussions with him about this in the past. How could he possibly recommend putting a Mazda engine in an airplane, Mazda is his employer and he has to defend Mazda in court against ridiculous and trivial lawsuits. Even if Mazda wins it costs them a lot of money to defend the nuisance suits. He told me of an accident involving a bunch of people riding around in the back of a pickup that ended up in a suit against Mazda. Obviously something like this is not Mazda's fault, but you know how the legal system is in this country, it's not about truth but who has the deepest pockets. To answer your question, his main point to me was that we should remove the Mazda name from the engines. That was idea number one in my previous email, and that is where it came from. I'm not sure how we do that, but that is their biggest concern. -- Perry Mick -- Perry Mick Custom Composite Props mick@bridgingworlds.com http://www.ductedfan.com --------------080103010101090405040306 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit
