In my case (accidentally set the = static to 45 deg advance ouch!), went flying but noticed that if I = opened the throttle the exhaust sound changed to a staccato popping = sound. When I got down and pulled the spark plugs, the center ceramic = cone had disappeared on two and cracked on the other two spark plugs, = the electrodes were eroded severely. So pull a plug or two and check = its condition.
