Afterthought........JIC comes in both 37 degree and 45 degree seats
so be sure to specify 37 degree.........In Lubbock I would think that
as much oil field business is around there you could find one locally.

I would go with steel.........I found mine locally at a hydaulic fitting
store.........Ask for a 16mm x1.5 to -8 JIC adaptor (JIC is 37 degree
commercial version of AN)......Mine came with O ring sealing washer.

Pegasus auto racing supply also carries these fittings
They also have silicone hose for cooling applications. Very friendly and they ship fast.
