Greg,

These ground, firing, running problems are linked to any engine that fires, runs, and has an electrical system. It makes no difference if its a rotary, a V8, or a Lycoming. When it all comes together, it all comes together. Your right smak dab in the middle of the "experimental" part. The good news is, your system will work and will work well. The bad news is your not there yet. The unaware news is, nobody said it was gonna be easy. If you will talk to Tracy direct, theres no doubt he will assist you. I'm about the same spot you are on my 20B. I've started it. It will idle. So far that's all I've accomplished in the running world of my engine. As soon as I get a prop on it  I will go to the next steps.
