Does Chevron make this stuff MIL PRF 83282??

Its high temp brake fluid that's compatible with 5606.  The RV crowd is

switching to it 'cause its less likely to flame up when you brake hard...

I'll order a gal if you have a supplier...

[Chevron sold the specialty aviation fluids business (that means brake

fluid among other things) to Exxon in 1996; when we bought Texaco in

'2001, we ended up marketing some Texaco aviation products, but I'm not

certain who blends them.  But no, there doesn't appear to be this

synthetic brake fluid in the Chevron catalog.  ExxonMobil makes it, and

I see that Royco repackages it for $25/gallon.  And the nice folks at

ACI Lubes would be delighted to sell you a gallon via mail order:
