Mark,
I haven't gotten it = to=20 start.  Have tried all the various methods to no avail.  Cold=20 start.  Program button etc.  I'll check the gap, but it is = fixed and=20 is more than .030.  Mazda has made it dummy proof.  Of course = I may be=20 a better dummy!  The gap can be increased with = spacing=20 washers, but not decreased.  Now that you mention it,  I don't = know if=20 the plugs are firing when I crank it over.  I just know they are = firing=20 when I put it into test mode and they all fire constantly.  (mode=20 8)   I'll pull a couple of plugs, and crank it over.  It = may be=20 that the test mode bypasses something.  Since I am getting no = firing at=20 all, This may be it.
Also, It does sound = like=20 it could be stuck in the cold start mode.  Any = suggestions on how=20 I test for it and what to do about it? I will test = the Cold start=20 switch on the panel for grounding and all the way back to pin=20 30.   I have set it to the full lean mode and all=20 combinations I can think of and it still floods and won't = fire. =20
Excellent suggestions.  I'm = looking forward to=20 starting it in a second or two, after listening to the various lyc and=20 continentals cranking and cranking at the airport this cold=20 morning.
