I had the Micro-1000 and they held OK for 20 hrs at 2" from the ports.

The only problem is that different probes use different hole sizes.
Could be a problem if your current ones are larger.

Thanks for lead. It's interesting that they are guaranteed; but I'
concerned that the SS housing may not last long 2" from the port in a
rotary. The ones I've been using are inconel 600 which I think is a better
bet. Also since my wiring assumes the 4' leads, I better stick with the
same kind I've got.

Hi Al,
It's always easiest to replace what's there, and the price difference
isn't that great anyway. I used the P-110 probes described at:
http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/inpages/eip110egttit.php because
I didn't know about the Micro-1000 probes at the time. I haven't heard
of any problems with the probes because of the rotary exhaust. Any of
them should handle the temperature OK if the pulses don't get them.
