Bob provided an excellent clip. Xplane only needs a few seconds of the engine sound, and then reproduces that over and over. You tell it what RPM the sound was recorded at, and it varies the sound with the engine RPM. Bob, what RPM did you record that sound at? The cruise part. It was fairly easy to tell where you leveled off.
Yvon. The sound of the engine start would be useful for me. Thank you.

Allo Ernest, I have a video clip of my 13B rotary powered homebuilt taking off from the local airport. The clip starts from the take-off point and is 2m 26s duration and 44.3 mb in size. If it fits your requirements, I can send it right away. Yvon.

Subject: [FlyRotary] cockpit sound
Does anyone have recording of the ambient noise of the rotary from inside a closed cockpit?
I want to add the sound to my Xplane model. I could also use a recording of the engine starting.
